The center will still be complying with the CDC requirements for any child who is sick or shows any COVID like symptoms. If your child is sick or is showing any symptoms while at school, you will be called to pick them up. The child will have to be symptom free for 24 hours. It is very important for the safety and wellness of both the staff and the students to make sure that all children that are sick are kept home. We have placed the sign scan code in the foyer along with hand sanitizer.
To prevent direct contact with the teaching staff and other children, we will be doing drop-off and pick-up in the foyer. Upon arrive your child’s temperature will be taken at the door and your child will be escorted to his/her classroom at drop-off and pick-up by a member of the teaching staff. We have a portable sink located by the entrance door, where the staff will be washing their hands along with the children's. All staff are required to wear a face mask while in the facility. We are asking that we limit the number of parents in the foyer to no more than two at a time, and that parents wear a mask during drop off/pick up.
As an added safety precaution we frequently have ServPro, a professional cleaning company disinfect the entire center. The teachers have done an amazing job with cleaning and sanitizing their rooms and toys. These procedures will still be implemented during our school day and at closing.
